Is the gold pack absolutely free?

Yes, the Buyer4Gold recycling package is absolutely free. Also, you are under no obligation to send us your unwanted gold, if in case you have already made request for a gold package.

Can I use my own packaging to send you my unwanted gold?

Yes, you can use your own packaging to send the scrap gold to us. In fact, this will speed up the process by great deal as you do not have to wait for our gold package. However you must obtain your own insurance and provide a receipt with your items. Your cost for insurance and shipping will be reimbursed up to $15.00.

How much will I get paid for my unwanted gold jewelry?

It largely depends on the content and weight of the gold. Please see What We Pay for more information.

What if I am not satisfied with the payment amount?

Unlike other gold companies, we contact you with an evaluation of your items. If you are not completely saticfied with our appraisal we will return you items at our expense.

Is your gold package insured, if in case it gets lost?

Yes, every customers gold package is insured while travelling through the US mail and in the custody of Buyer4Gold up to one hundred dollars.

Not sure that something is made up of gold?

Not a problem, our knowledgeable and expert staff will determine the authenticity of your unwanted gold. For items that are not gold we will return them to you at Buyer4Gold expense. Please do not include anything you know is costume or gold plated.

When you say I can receive my payment in 4 hours what do you mean?

This means that we will process your items and contact you with our appraisal on the day we receive your items. If you choose, the Buyer4Gold Visa Debit Card will be loaded within 4 hours of your approval.

What if my unwanted jewelry has gemstones in it?

Most gemstones are made of glass, we do not purchase gemstones and recommend that you have them removed prior to sending your items if the gemstones are of importance to you. You may find that they are very easily removed by yourself, simply pull back on one of the prongs and they usually fall out.
